Food Tasting

Awhile back, Jan and I had the pleasure of doing a food tasting for our good friend Tim.   It was fun and a night out with out the kiddos.  His new restaurant is called Soi 7 (Thai Fusion).  It’s not open yet, but it’s coming soon and it’s located in downtown LA.  I haven’t gone to see the location and place, but Jan said it’s going to be pretty awesome.

I’m not much of a food critic because I loved everything..hahah!  Sorry Tim, I hope I was able to give some good feedbacks.  Jan and I came out of the tasting so full and really enjoyed a sneek peek at their menu.  We definitely can’t wait for the restaurant to open.  The food was deeeeeeeeelious!!!  I took a few pics..  Enjoy!!

Steamed fish… very yummy too.

OMG!!! The best pork belly salad around. The pork just pulled right off and the salad had a nice light citrus dressing.  The combo was excellent!!  Another favorite!!!

I really like this dish too… Jan ate most of it because I was too full to eat it :(

You definitely have to save room for this AWESOME dessert!! Even though I was full…I ate the whole dessert by myself… it was that good :) :)  That’s probably why I can’t seem to lose weight :(

They also made clams, but it was sooooo good that I was too busy eating and forgot to take a picture :( .. Too bad, it’s not open yet…  but no worries.  If you want good reasonable Thai food, Tim does have another restaurant called Green Papaya in Alhambra. It’s the best Thai food in LA in my opinion. Go check it out…

Have a wonderful day!!!
